Full-mouth rehabilitation
A staged plan to restore function and appearance across the whole mouth.
What it is
Full-mouth rehabilitation combines restorative, surgical and sometimes orthodontic treatment to rebuild a mouth affected by wear, disease or tooth loss. It is planned in stages, and is rarely finished in a single trip.
Who usually considers it
- People with extensive wear or many failing restorations
- Patients missing several teeth
- People with bite problems that affect chewing or comfort
What an evaluation looks at
- Every tooth, the gums, the bone and the joints
- Medical history and medications
- Sequence, stages and how they fit around your travel
Suitability, duration and cost are set individually, after a clinical evaluation by a licensed dentist.
